早在研究阶段，我们的地图设计师就爱上了这片新区域，因为新地图结合了众多不同地貌。从高耸的群山到各色海岸，从错落有致的农田到荒芜的贫瘠之地，很显然我们的设计团队正在完成一个极具挑战性的高难度任务。我们竭尽全力描绘驾驶室之外的意大利典型风貌，以此让驾驶员的视野更加开阔，例如，在穿越亚平宁山脉的道路间，隧道桥梁与秀丽的远景和蜿蜒的道路参差交错，在远方的地平线上打开一幅画卷。意大利的地理位置与地形也使得在此新扩展包中，城市与工业相对较为集中。
